Frieda is a sunny sugar skull with a garden of wild color, wearing a bright striped dress in orange and purple that blooms like cheerful petals. Dressed in a dapper orange-and-black ensemble, he sports striped trousers, a snug vest over his bony ribs, and a jaunty polka-dot bow tie that feels delightfully festive. Igor stands very still, as if the world has just said something unexpected and he’s not quite sure how to respond.
