He’s dressed like a storybook gangster who wandered out of a dream: pinstripes marching neatly down his suit, a jaunty hat tipped just enough to suggest secrets, and a sunny yellow tie that refuses to take crime too seriously. His cheeks glow rosy pink, as if he’s just been caught laughing at his own joke, while his wide, wandering eyes give him the look of someone who’s always surprised by how well things are going.
